We match all customer-end data to their government-issued ID, verify with a front and back view that this government ID is valid, and gather a live selfie image of the user. We then compare all the data and direct the user to the next step, which questions them in public databases and allows them to either enter an OTP (one-time password) sent to their mobile number or email address used to sign up if it is in the public database, or by selecting the correct recorded address that corresponds to them.

Our verification process cross-references customer data with government IDs, verifying their validity through front and back views and a live selfie. Data like ID # is extracted with OCR tools. These tools have high accuracy rates. We then compare the data and proceed to the next step, where public databases question the user. Verification options include entering an OTP sent to their mobile number or email, or selecting the correct recorded address. Security and a seamless user experience are our top priorities.

In the back-office, view reports with the monthly number of verification attempts per tenant, with the ability to expand to the number per store, and show drilldowns of specific attempts.

FTx Identity can verify IDs with a high level of accuracy. However, in cases when the correct accuracy can’t be met, users can:
  • Check for typos in billing address, CVV, or email.
  • Retry later or contact support if it persists.
  • Upload a photo of their ID card (may be necessary in some cases).
